No longer a diary app

Made the mistake of clicking update all for my apps to discover this app decided to switch from a diary to social media for personality quiz type stuff. No longer can you just write private messages or record something that happened. All previous data is gone. Update list from 2 updates ago says the servers have erased the data. Luckily I was just using the free version, but I still had long several entries recording some events that apparently are now lost to the cloud, never to be seen again.

I dont understand why they didnt just produce a separate app & leave Flava alone.
