Update: I now hate this app. The update made no sense. Flava was the best app of is kind. Now this me.time overwrote it. It is a completely different app. Why wouldnt they just have made a new app. My son has Aspergers/ autism and Flava was the best app to document his journey as I could take videos and pictures alongside written entries. They ruined a great thing. There are already enough apps that ask you questions about your day. The windows store even has a great app for it and it is far superior to this one....and it was free. They should have done a beta version of this app before losing Flava entirely. This is the worst upgrade I have ever dealt with. I love this app. I have it on every device I own. The timeline is perfect. You are able to add pictures and video to your entries. I have had this app for over a year and I have not lost my entries. Even when I purchase new devices or upgrade what I have, when I install it, log on, and allow a short amount of time for it to gather my entries.they are still all there pictures and all. However, I have iPads! I have to select iPhone apps and trick it on to my iPads. It is still functional, but the icon does not come up and you cannot rotate the screen. The words are not nice and clear either because everything is being forced bigger. PLEASE UPDATE SOON!!!!

Wow: no notice. App changed and it took years of my data/memories with it.

Most companies give their users advance warning about losing a server… the only reason this caught my attention is because of an unfamiliar app in my vault. The replacement is useless and destructive. Side note: back up to your own server.

Im devastated and frustrated!!! I received the notice and tried to request data back up way before June 30 but I was unable to access the data.

Cannot trust a company that would do what they did to the users of flava. Why not just create a whole new app and allow users like me to keep the old app without future updates. I auto update and lost information I had on flava. Wont even try their new app. I think you guys shot yourselves in the foot by being inconsiderate to loyal users.

Adding to the outcry. My old account with old journal entries appears to be overwritten by this new app. The website, takeflava.com, no longer resolves. Id also like to add that I had an unrelated issue with this app last year and sent a message to customer service for help and never received a reply. Shady all around.

I had notes from the past 3 years saved on Flava, which honestly was a great app, but now theyre all gone thanks to this company that replaced it with this crappy app without giving any further notice. I cant believe this, really, I would have kept a real journal instead if I knew this would happen.

This may not seem important to any of you but I might as well write my review. Ive been using Flava for three years. I used to write in a diary/journal until my brother found it and beat me. Im the type of person who has to write down every detail of every important event Ive encountered within the past three years and using an app that provides that was the only choice I had. I loved this app! I had many images stored onto there that I couldnt store else where, many memories and now theyre all gone. Believe it or not Im crying my eyes out well writing this. There are no words to express how I feel other than heart broken. Please please please help me! Dont change your new update just please bring back my old entries. I want that more than anything right now. Ill even help spread the word of this new "update" just please bring back my entries. My name is Shereen Abi

After update, my old notes are disappeared and couldnt connect to server. Am I losing every notes of my own? What kinds of update like this? This is crazy and very nonsense update. Get me back my old notes. After getting back, I will not use the app and delete it. What the F*CK?

I was aware that "Flava" wouldnt be operating any but instead of changing the entire app and deleting ALL of my stuff without me having to update is so disappointing!!! I JUST LOST YEARS OF MEMORIES!! At least let us know that everything would be deleted and changed. This is so aggravating

I used to love this journal app. Ive been using it for months and had saved so many memories on it. Little did I know these would all be erased with this pointless update. They have so morphed the app into something entirely different. I wish they had created a new app instead of steamrolling over one of my favorites.

I use to love this app back when it was flava I wrote everything down in this app I even starts writing and entire book and now I cant find anything and it seems that all of my good memories and stuff of the like have been deleted and now Im stuck trying to figure out where all my Notes and memories are i and livid at this app.

Where is my information

What happened to my data. This is a totally different app. How can you use any app as a diary if it is going to be blown away because the app is discontinued or changed entirely. I am never going to put any information in an app that I need to keep because it is totally unreliable. This message goes you and Apple. Why have an app if it is only temporary. All the software that I buy for my PC is mine not something I am leasing for a period of time so I can put all my stuff in it and lose it. Apps should be the same way. This is total BS.

Where is my data before updating the application, important events have all disappeared due to update the application I am very sad for that and my psyche was very tired because it is important memories in my life I hope to find a solution for the retrieval

ALL MY DATA IS GONE?!? 5 YEARS!!!! This is completely unacceptable for an app to act in such a disgraceful and unprofessional manner. I kept a diary for years with you and you update your app with complete disregard to everyone who has been using it? How dare you treat your loyal users like trash. You should be embarrassed and ashamed of yourselves. I very much assume you are launching an investigation to rectify this situation we are all in IMMEDIATELY, correct?!?

Where is the flava app that this replaced and all my data that I paid to store?

Made the mistake of clicking update all for my apps to discover this app decided to switch from a diary to social media for personality quiz type stuff. No longer can you just write private messages or record something that happened. All previous data is gone. Update list from 2 updates ago says the servers have erased the data. Luckily I was just using the free version, but I still had long several entries recording some events that apparently are now lost to the cloud, never to be seen again. I dont understand why they didnt just produce a separate app & leave Flava alone.

I hated this upgrade. This is a lack of respect for all consumers as I kept important notes on flava. Could at least have left the active site.. I want to know where are my notes! And I want them back!! I hope they have the decency to give us a awnser.
